Kansas City is playing in their fourth Super Bowl in five years, and we project their experience will be invaluable as the game wears on. The 49ers have some key players with Super Bowl experience, but their most important player, Brock Purdy, is a 24-year-old making his first Big Game appearance.

The 49ers’ rush defense is allowing 5.6 yards per carry this season, which is how we think KC will win this game. The Chiefs have made a concerted effort to establish the run game in the playoffs, averaging 127.3 rushing yards per game in their three playoff wins. They are built to expose SF’s defensive inefficiencies.

Pacheco Will Find Paydirt

Our best Super Bowl player prop bet is for Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco to score an anytime touchdown. The current player prop odds for Isiah Pacheco to score a touchdown in Super Bowl 58 are -125 at most sportsbooks. This means you would need to bet $125 to win $100 if he scores.

Pacheco has been on an incredible touchdown-scoring run heading into the Super Bowl, finding the end zone in seven straight games for the Chiefs. He is clearly their preferred goal-line and short-yardage back, evidenced by his 72.5% rushing share inside the 10-yard line this season. Pacheco has also received a heavy workload recently, averaging over 20 carries per game over the Chiefs’ last 3 playoff contests.

The 49ers’ defense has shown vulnerability against the run during these playoffs, allowing over 100 yards to both Aaron Jones of the Packers and the trio of Lions running backs in the NFC Championship game. Their defensive front lacks the dominant force it had in previous seasons and has slipped to just 25th in rushing yards allowed per game.
