MLS has already won with the signing of Lionel Messi. The North American league is beginning to have greater visibility thanks to the signing of the Argentine star with Inter Miami. The bet made by club owner Jorge Mas is beginning to bear fruit, but one of the main factors in the signing of the World Cup winner was the technology giant, Apple.

Apple growth

Apple is already beginning to see its efforts rewarded and has exceeded all expectations with subscribers on Apple TV, all thanks to the Inter Miami matches, where the former FC Barcelona and PSG player plays.

“We are excited about our partnership with MLS and are thrilled to see Messi suit up for Inter Miami. It’s clearly in the early days, but we’re beating our expectations in terms of subscribers, and the fact that Messi went to Inter Miami helped us out there a bit, so we’re very excited,” Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO told analysts in statements picked up by Business Insider.
