The final stages of the CONCACAF Champions Cup have arrived, the tournament that brings together the top teams from Central and Northern America. It is the most prestigious tournament of the confederation due to the spotlight that has been focused on MLS and Liga MX; there is a direct rivalry between the two divisions, adding to the fascinating ties that have been witnessed in recent times.

The fact that there is a competition starring Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Sergio Canales and Andre Pierre Gignac, (among others) are present, has seen the attention surrounding the game increase hugely. The curious thing is that, despite the huge signings, only two of the aforementioned players are among the top 10 most valuable players in the transfer market.
